Full Job Description
We are currently seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Line Cook to join our team. As a Line Cook at our brunch restaurant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the seamless operation of our kitchen and the delivery of delicious brunch options to our guests. We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, works well within a tight-knit team, and is dedicated to maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation.,
- Prepare and cook a variety of brunch menu items, including eggs, pancakes, sandwiches, salads, and more, according to established recipes and standards.
- Set up and maintain stations with necessary ingredients, equipment, and utensils.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of work areas, including kitchen surfaces, equipment, and storage areas.
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
- Coordinate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders.
- Assist with inventory management, stock rotation, and ordering of supplies as needed.
- Be adaptable and willing to cover different sections of the kitchen and pitch in where required to support the team.
- Demonstrate flexibility in working a schedule that includes 2 full weekends every month and 1 weekend day every week, between the hours of 7:30 am and 4:30 pm.
Previous experience as a Line Cook or similar role, preferably in a brunch or breakfast-focused restaurant. - Strong culinary skills and knowledge of brunch cooking techniques.
- Ability to work effectively in a small team environment and communicate clearly with colleagues.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining food quality and presentation standards.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Culinary degree or certification is a plus, but not required.
£11.44 - £12.50 an hour - Permanent, Full-time
