Full Job Description

At OCS Group, we are recruiting for a Chef Manager, who can provide quality food at a key customer site, your main aim will be to ensure the provision of an excellent standard of service.,

  • Ensure the smooth running of kitchen services and maintain hygiene standards.

  • To manage and monitor the operation of the Contract by Contract Specification and Company Policy.

  • Ensure that all food offered is fresh, appetising, nutritionally balanced, and in line with customer requirements and company specifications.

  • To effectively manage within budgetary constraints and conform to client/company specifications.

  • Ensure that Health and Safety regulations and food safety standards are complied with.

  • Manage and develop staff to achieve the highest standard of work promoting a positive team spirit.

  • Manage budgets and cash control.

  • Apply quality control procedures to ensure the maintenance of high standards and continuous improvement of service.

  • To continuously develop and improve quality and hygiene standards and to monitor customer trends and demands.

  • To ensure that adequate products, equipment, and materials are available to the Contract standard.

  • To respond to any reasonable request of the company or client.

  • To apply quality control procedures to ensure the maintenance of high standards of service and compliance with the specifications.

    Management experience in a similar role

  • Level 3 catering qualification e.g C&G 706/2

  • Experience as a Chef with a passion for food

  • A sound understanding of budget control

  • Excellent client relationship and customer care skills

  • Strong IT and administration skills
