Class 1 Day Driver

The position of Class 1 Driver involves:

• This will involve dropping refrigerated products in cages to retail stores in the Aberdeenshire area.


• Loading and unloading of refrigerated vehicle with tail lifts, ensuring load security.


• Dealing with customers face to face and over the phone.


• Keeping in regular contact with the transport team for updates on progress and managing our customers expectations.

  Essential skills required for Class 1 Driver:


• Must hold a UK Class 1 CE Licence.


• Hold a current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card.


• Experience of refrigerated trailers and tail lifts is preferred but not essential as full training will be given.


• Be passionate about providing excellent customer service.


• Working to deadlines.


• Confident, polite and a team player.


• Good geographical knowledge.


• Due to the nature of the role applicants must be fit, flexible, hardworking and self-motivated.
  
  Salary for Class 1 Driver is between £34,398pa - £39,312pa AND MORE! depending on hours worked.


• Hours of work are on 4on 4off rota, start time circa 04:00hrs until 13:00hrs.
