This is an opportunity to join a vibrant, highly dedicated team committed to meeting the needs of all our children.

Our Gaelic Medium provision has increased steadily over the last couple of years and you will join our Gaelic Medium team.

You will be a fluent Gaelic speaker, have effective oral and written skills in Gaelic and English and have experience of teaching all stages.

About the School

Goodlyburn Primary School shares a campus with Perth College, University of Highlands and Islands.  We are approximately one mile from the centre of Perth and are on a regular bus route.  Perth is a beautiful City, often referred to as the Gateway to the Highlands and we are equidistant from Glasgow and Edinburgh approximately 1 hour by car, with excellent motorway and rail links.

Requirements

Teaching Degree or Teaching Post Graduate qualification.

Fluent in written and spoken Gaelic.

The Individual

You will be a qualified teacher, registered with GTCS and a fluent Gaelic speaker.  

You will have excellent oral and written skills in Gaelic and English and have experience of teaching all stages.

You will be enthusiastic and innovative in your thinking, work well as a team and have a positive outlook and desire to promote Gaelic language and culture.

You should be able to demonstrate a knowledge of current curriculum developments and have a creative approach to learning and teaching.
