About The Position:

The CI Specialist will report to the Plant Manager and be accountable for executing Waukesha Bearings' Lean CI initiatives, which will result in a significant impact to Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Inventory and Productivity (SQDCIP).

What You Will Bring:

-2+ years of experience in an Operational Excellence / CI orientated role, deploying Lean / Six Sigma tools and principles.
-Working experiences with functional leaders to establish and execute CI roadmap to deliver baseline results.
-Experience of managing and facilitating change.
-Ability to train others in the requirement of an Operational Excellence model.
-Relevant Lean CI qualification, ideally earned within an Engineering, or related field.

What You Will Do:

-Provide expertise and direction for improvement activities to support the business goals and objectives at manufacturing plant level. They will also work closely with their Lean counterparts throughout the company and with local Departmental Managers, as well as cross-functional teams, in order to identify, recommend, develop, implement and support cost-effective operational/business solutions for all aspects of the plant.

evelop and lead our Waukesha Lean/OPEX improvement initiatives across the Glasgow facility.
-Identity areas to improve and take personal ownership to implement improvement activities.
-Facilitate Kaizen events within the business, coaching and mentoring the stakeholders on CI/Lean/OPEX, coaching the end to end business on identification of waste, implementing the improvements identified and reaching key productivity KPI's.
