Full Job Description

CM maintains a strong and consistent control environment through a joint accountability model that aligns managers with each line of business, function and region to mitigate operational risk. The team focuses on five areas: Risk Identification & Assessment, Control Design & Evaluation, Issue Management, Regulatory Change, and Control Governance & Reporting. The role of Analytics & Reporting Automation supports the control environment by ensuring that metric data is presented in way which can be understood, trends can be analysed and where necessary and acted upon., Driving the ICB data analytics and automation solution for ICB Control Managers and Senior Management:

  • Enabling effective use of data by presenting complex data in simple, concise ways.

  • Utilising control management data from various firmwide tools (CORE and Jira).

  • Maintaining data modelling and mapping between tools.

  • Delivering powerful reporting requirements in line with control management needs.

  • Working closely with Control Managers to develop reporting to serve business function management.

  • Proactively identify opportunities to increase efficiency and create a more resilient control practices environment and participate in projects to deliver improvements.

  • Acting as primary point of contact for the ICB data analytics and automation solution for ICB Control Managers and Senior Management.

  • Partnering with ICB Data team for planning & implementation of the solutions.

  • Supporting the enhancement of risk culture awareness through powerful data & insights., Our professionals in our Corporate Functions cover a diverse range of areas from finance and risk to human resources and marketing.   • Control Management maintains a strong and consistent control environment through a joint accountability model that aligns managers with each function and region to mitigate operational risk. The team focuses on four areas: Control Design & Expertise, Risks & Controls Identification/Assessment, Issues & Control Deficiencies and Control Governance & Reporting.

  • Professional experience in developing, maintaining and manage advance reporting, analytics, dashboards in tableau and alteryx is required.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), JIRA and Confluence required

  • Ability to reconcile, analyse and interpret data, and to summarise key messages to senior stakeholders.

  • Attention to detail and ability to present work accurately and professionally.

  • Work autonomously to affect change. Flexible, adaptable to shifting priorities; manages competing priorities to achieve the most effective result and able to work in a fast-paced, results driven environment.

  • Excellent communication, relationship building and influencing skills; including written and oral communication skills with the ability to present information in differing degrees of details and form depending on audience.

  • Flexibility and ability to partner with other team members across global time zones.

  • Moderate level of independent decision-making using sound judgement.

  • Proactive, self-starter able to consistently deliver work of a high standard whilst managing conflicting priorities, comfortable working independently in a dynamic and challenging environment.

  • Team player who works well with colleagues of all levels in achieving results, and willing to take personal accountability.

  • Presence and ability to engage with senior management.
