Corporate Tax Manager

Iconic Resourcing are delighted to be partnering with a key public practice client in their search for a Corporate Tax Manager based in Edinburgh. This role will play a key part in the growth of the business, providing corporate tax support to the firm's clients and leading a team of tax professionals at varying levels. The firm is at a critical phase in its growth and has recently onboarded some high value clients with more on the way.

This role will be highly autonomous and suited to candidates with experience in a similar Corporate Tax Manager role or Assistant Manager role either in practice or industry. Strong team management skills are essential as is a tax or accountancy qualification i.e. ICAS, CTA or ATT.

Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of corporate tax assignments for a variety of clients
• Take responsibility for the timely delivery of advisory and compliance services to your clients
• Management of a team of more junior staff at varying levels of experience including managing the team's KPIs with a client focused mindset
• Make effective business decisions in relation to the management of your team
• Play an active role in the sustainability, development and growth of the firm
• Continuous improvement projects
• Business partnering internally, becoming a key point of contact for corporation tax matters

Previous Experience

The successful candidate will be a CTA/ATT/CA Qualified tax professional with a background in practice or industry, with experience to manager or assistant manager level. Strong people management skills is essential for success in this role. Excellent technical tax skills are a necessity for this role as is strong business partnering skills.
