Credit Controller

Jenson Fisher have been engaged by a highly reputable organisation based in Glasgow to recruit a Credit Control on a Fixed Term contract for 1 years. There may be an opportunity for the role to become permanent. This will suit a candidate who has a strong finance background and proven track record in reducing aged debt.

Main duties:

- Contacting customers via phone and email to chase debt
- Reducing aged debt and minimising legal/bad debts
- Risk Assessing new credit account applications and making credit judgements
- Reviewing credit limits and setting limits within company guidelines
- Dealing with credit control queries
- Maintaining and reconciling a high volume of accounts
- Producing invoices, statements, and chase letters

Requirements:

- Credit control experience
- Proficient user of Excel
- Xero experience would be preferred
- Strong communication skills
- Team player
