Data Governance Manager

Role: Data Governance Manager/SME

Location: Edinburgh or Glasgow

New Data Governance role with our growing FinTech client. This role has come around thanks to growth and you will report into the Head of Data Governance. You will lead on the roll out of the business' new data governance strategy whilst analysing current policies and procedures, comparing this with the wider business as it expands.

You will be the main point of contact for the business on GDPR and will lead on completion of any information audits. This is a managerial role, and you will people manage a team of 3.

Experience required for the role:

• Experience working in a Data Governance role, any industry experience is welcome!
• You'll be confident and expert in all things GDPR related.
• As you will manage a team of three, our client is looking for experience of people management or a desire to do so (perhaps you have mentored more junior colleagues).
• This role can be based in Edinburgh or Glasgow and will require occasional visits to offices down south.
