Full Job Description
FinTech RS is working with a global service company who are looking to bolster its business systems team by bringing in an experienced data and reporting engineer. This role will be line managed by the Business Systems Manager and will be responsible for all aspects of databases and reporting including analysis, design, development, maintenance and support.
The successful candidate will perform general database administration, develop, and deliver reports and complete regular data management and maintenance activities in the ERP and related database systems.
Duties will include:
- A modern database architecture in SQL Server including OLAP-based reporting.
- Lifecycle management of SQL objects including queries, views, functions, triggers, stored procedures etc.
- Line of business reporting in Excel / MS Query and SSRS.
- Application databases and related reporting.
- Maintenance and development of OLAP reporting and data warehouse and related ETL routines (SSIS / SSAS).
- Work with users ensuring data and reports meet their business needs.
Candidates should have extensive database and reporting experience using SQL. ERP knowledge is also beneficial however not essential as training will be given in these areas.
