Day Care of Children Support Practitioner

It is essential that you are qualified to a minimum SCQF Level 6 qualification in an appropriate discipline as defined by the SSSC for the post of Support Practitioner in a Daycare of Children service. You must also have experience of working with children between 3 to 8 years and have a working knowledge of the Play work Principles.

Term-Time

Salary: £12.04 per hour plus 5.8 weeks holiday pay.

Hours: Up to 18 per week between 14.30 - 18.15 Monday - Friday during Renfrewshire Council school term. Hours are negotiable.

An Early Years Support Practitioner is required for a community nursery. The successful applicant will work as part of a small team to support with the provision of high-quality childcare for children attending the nursery late session and after-school care service.

You will be required to work with the staff team to plan and implement a programme of activities and experiences in line with the Playwork Principles.

You will support with the delivery of our out of school care service and work together with other staff to plan and implement a programme of activities for primary school children attending after school sessions and nursery children attending late sessions.
