Post Title: Dental Officer
Base: Royal Alexandra Hospital with cross cover location required within NHSGG&C (locations TBC)
Duration: Permanent 37.5 hrs per week

An exciting opportunity has arisen to recruit to the post of full time Dental Officer to support all clinical
care for registered and unregistered patients (including domiciliary care) within the Public Dental Service
in NHS GG&C.
The successful candidate will be involved in the provision of clinical and domiciliary care and treatment of
complex and vulnerable patients both registered and referred to the Public Dental Service across the
Glasgow and Clyde areas.
The post holder must be registered with the General Dental Council as a dentist.

The successful applicant will be expected to have regular contact with a range of partners including:

  • PDS staff
  • Glasgow University
  • Secondary Care dental colleagues
  • Other medical colleagues
  • Health Improvement Team

The post holder will be required to work 37.5hrs (Mon- Fri: 5days)
