Full Job Description

Reporting to the Depot Manager, our Depot Customer Service Administrator will be responsible for all internal and external queries regarding our plant, tool and machinery hire. You will take ownership of the end to end process, from the initial queries from our customers, to identifying the right product, to raising quotations and then ensuring the maximin utilisation of our stock availability. The delivery of excellent customer service to internal and external customers will be you driving force in this role.

The successful candidate will demonstrate a keenness and tenacity to maximise hire opportunities. Responsibilities will include:

  • Develop product knowledge of hire fleet and accessories.

  • Answer all incoming calls and emails to establish client requirements and log enquiries accurately.

  • Provide a timeous and competitive response to the enquiry to secure an order

  • Follow up open opportunities to achieve order win status

  • Follow account opening, quotation and operational processes of our off hire fleet

  • Proactively speak with customers to bolster relationships and increase revenue

  • Efficiently and accurately complete all physical and electronic documentation and administration associated with hire, service, exchanges, sales, or other related enquiries.

    A skilled multi-tasker, that can adapt quickly and flexibly to changing circumstances.

  • Have previous experience in a similar role

  • Have knowledge of the Plant Hire industry

  • Previous experience with CRM systems

  • A reliable team player.

  • Customer focused and a genuine enthusiasm for excellent customer service.

  • Proficient Microsoft Office user: Word/Excel/Outlook/SharePoint
