The Company is seeking to appoint an experienced and competent dayshift Despatch Administrator at our customer site in Leven. This is an exciting opportunity to join a very successful and well known business.

The successful candidate will provide administrative support for the 24/7 warehouse operation, ensuring the highest level of accuracy at all times. The ideal candidate should demonstrate a practical understanding of general office, warehouse and administrative duties and have the ability to complete tasks in a timely and efficient manner.

The role is fast-paced and varied and as such requires an individual with a proactive and flexible approach to work, both in a team environment and individually. A keen eye for detail, good telephone manner and excellent face to face communication skills are essential attributes required for this role in order to effectively liaise with a variety of internal departments and external customers. Above all, you will need to demonstrate a 'can-do' attitude to organising your resources to deliver excellent service to our customers.

Main areas of responsibility will include:

· Setting up loads for despatch

· Planning MIR's and STO's

· Issuing loading paperwork to warehouse

· Issuing Despatch paperwork including any shipping notes or customs documents

· Booking new loads with hauliers within Road Runner/SAP system

· Booking in of drivers when they arrive for loading

· Communicating any issues to the Traffic Team

· Working toward deadlines whilst producing accurate work of a high standard

Knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Outlook is essential and experience of working with Warehouse and Transport systems including SAP, Despatcher and Road Runner Pro will prove beneficial though training for such will be provided.

Our Logistics division provides supply chain management, storage, distribution and related services to a number of major customers via numerous strategically located intermodal centres, and is the operator of major rail freight terminals, 450 trucks and over 5 million square feet of warehousing throughout the UK. The Company provides integrated third party logistics solutions including bonded and non-bonded warehousing and supply chain management to a number of blue chip customers across Scotland and England.

The hours of work will be based on Monday to Friday dayshifts. You are expected to demonstrate reasonable flexibility in your working hours in order to suit the needs of the business, particularly at peak operational periods.
