Full Job Description

Working flexibly across North Lanarkshire, you will be responsible for the organisation and delivery of Digital learning across North Lanarkshire within a local Community Learning & Development team and in partnership with Libraries.

Your main duties will include the management of “Digital Labs” which will see flexible, community-based labs set up across North Lanarkshire to provide local adults aged 16+ with the relevant skills, confidence, and motivation to get online. 

Your role will involve the co-ordination of consistent digital learning offers across each town board area, developing learning resources and accreditation, writing reports and managing performance & evaluation. As part of your role, you may also supervise support workers and delegate tasks to meet the demands of the team.

You will liaise with Council colleagues, partner agencies and members of the public, including adult learners, young people, families and community groups involved in local Community Learning & Development programmes.

The successful candidate will be line managed by the CLD Adult Learning Manager. You will be required to move about North Lanarkshire. Good communication and organisational skills are essential. For further information, please contact Emma Clark,  (ClarkEmma@northlan.gov.uk)
