Full Job Description

If you're a passionate, experienced and flexible Digital Project Manager who instinctively understands website design and build projects, we want to hear from you! Denholm are delighted to be working with one of Scotland's finest creative agencies who are looking to add a new Digital Project Manager to their highly successful, tight-knit team.

This will initially be a 4-month Fixed-Term Contract basis, with a possibility of the contract being extended or going permanent (not guaranteed at this stage).

Working alongside the agency's Head of Digital Planning, you'll be tasked with handling and managing website build and design projects, as well as client expectations and the relationship at large. Whilst you will not be expected to code or be hands-on with the technical aspects, you'll speak the language of digital and specifically web, content management systems and SEO principles in order to hit the ground running and deliver.

As a key member of the team, you'll be comfortable with timelines and resource allocation, b great with people and understand what it takes to get the job done.

What you'll be doing

This Digital Project Manager role has potential to become long-term, as more of the agency's clients seek innovative and impactful web solutions. Initially, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Project managing website design & builds end-to-end, including resource allocation and timelines.
  • Taking responsibility fore the quality of each build and design.
  • Hitting deadlines and working both autonomously and collaboratively with cross-functional teams to hit deadlines.
  • Maintaining existing client relationships with regular updates and setting expectations.
  • Working with content management systems to ensure projects run smoothly.

Who we're looking for:

  • A minimum of 2 years in a similar role.
  • Experience working with content management systems.
  • A passion for the web and an eagerness to learn.
  • Excellent project management skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams as well as autonomously.
  • A readiness to embrace and use new approaches and to keep up-to-date with industry advances.
  • Experience with WordPress and Shopify preferrable.
  • Experience with Trello preferrable.
  • Prior web design agency experience preferrable.
  • Good understanding of SEO principles preferrable.
  • Experience working with Google Analytics 4 preferrable.
