Digital Quality Control / Proofreader

My client, a market leader in their field, are looking to hire a Digital Quality Control/Proofreader on a full time permanent basis.

This role would be well suited to a recent graduate looking to start their career, and will see you working in the following duties:

Maintaining quality standards of Digital Learning scripts, and courses.

Analysing the quality and performance of Digital learning products

Questioning the nature of defects while providing future solutions

Designing test plans, scenarios, scripts, and procedures

Reviewing and analysing system and course specifications

Working with the Production team to correct bugs and errors

Executing test cases and analysing results

Analysing test results and reporting to the Production team

Creating logs to document testing phases and defects

Collaborating with Digital Management to develop effective strategies and test plans

Working with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle

Assist in troubleshooting issues

Assist with general office based tasks

Any other reasonable duties which may be required by management from time to time

The key competencies required to succeed in the role are:

Understanding of the design and development processes and technologies of digital learning products and services

Excellent verbal and written presentation skills

A good working knowledge of test management software, programming languages, and QA methodologies

Good communication and phone skills

Detail orientated with strong follow up skills

Ability to build relationships with senior personnel within client organisations;

Good time management skills and able to work to strict deadlines.

Demonstrates the ability to handle a variety of tasks/problems
