Director

Due to the retirement of our Director, we are looking for an inspirational leader to take the Co-operative forward. Our new Director will have ambition and determination to work with the Management Committee to achieve the Co-operative's vision of making West Whitlawburn a safe, inclusive and popular area where people are happy to live.

You will lead the team and will be passionate about the highest possible levels of service, local control and accountability. We offer a rewarding work environment where you will have the opportunity to make a real difference to our local community.
You will lead the delivery of all our activities and services and will drive a performance management culture. You will be an effective leader of the Senior Staff Team, working collaboratively with colleagues on all matters of business strategy ensuring WWHC is a customer-focused, ambitious, dynamic and sustainable organisation.

The successful candidate will have extensive housing experience and must be able to meet the high expectations of our service users. This post requires someone who is performance driven, has excellent communication skills, a proven record of delivering excellent customer services, strong IT skills and is a confident and effective manager. A flexible and enthusiastic approach is essential along with the ability to manage competing priorities.

West Whitlawburn Housing Co-operative is a Fully Mutual Housing Co-operative operating in Cambuslang, Glasgow with over 700 properties.
