Our History: Mead Care was founded by Mr David Mead in 1997. We provide a number of Care Homes to include Specialist Dementia Services, Residential, Nursing and Day Care Provision.

Our domestic/laundry/kitchen assistants are inducted and trained to work in all 3 areas of the home.

As a Domestic/Laundry/kitchen assistant at Mead Care you will be responsible for - 

Domestic – as domestic assistant you will work as part of a team to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene within the home, whilst always ensuring a safe comfortable environment. Guidelines for the cleaning of the home may change and as part of the domestic team you will keep up to date with these changes.

Laundry – as a laundry assistant you will be required to work as part of the team to maintain high standards of cleanliness of linen, towels and residents personal clothing, ensuring an adequate supply of these at all times.

Kitchen Assistant - as a Kitchen Assistant at Mead Care, you will be primarily responsible for assisting the cook in the smooth day to day running of the kitchen, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in line with current regulations.

About you

You must be a caring person, although primarily based in the domestic/laundry/kitchen you will interact with our residents as we believe firmly in full team inclusion. You will need to have good communication skills, hold a food hygiene certificate but full training will be provided to the successful candidate.
