Domestic, Goathill Campus, Stornoway (0873)
9.5 hours Per Week, Permanent post
£6,722 - £6,791 per annum, inclusive of £704 per annum Distant Islands Allowance
Required for 9.5 hours per week at Goathill Campus. You will provide domestic assistance in the Home, with particular responsibility for the overall cleanliness of the Home, to the standard necessary for the health and safety of the service users.
You should have an understanding of the needs of client group and an understanding of the rights of others. The ability to understand, retain and act on instructions. You should have the ability to work in an organised and thorough manner and have empathy.
You should be willing to clean to a cleaning schedule or in a work setting, have an outgoing and friendly personality, be aware of the importance of confidentiality and have respect for others.
Salary for the above post is inclusive of Distant Islands Allowance. Appointment to the post will be on the first point of grade with annual incremental progression.
The wearing and use of PPE is essential in this post.
