Full Job Description

As part of our continued growth, our O&M team are looking for an Electrical Engineer to join our business on a full time, permanent basis in Muir of Ord. You ll be working with an established team to assist in our continued successful deliver of projects across the region for our clients.

Some of your key duties include:

  • To provide input to all aspects of electrical projects from design right through to implementation, ensuring compliance with Client specifications and current regulatory standards.

  • Take responsibility for electrical deliverables including supervision of graduate electrical engineers the procurement of goods and services.

  • Preparing electrical work scope estimates and quotations.

  • Completing contract works information documents.

  • Produce risk assessments and method statements.

  • Manage quality, environmental and health and safety matters on allocated projects.

    Degree/HND/HNC in Electrical Engineering or equivalent

  • DSEAR experience

  • Experience within the water or other technically complex industries

  • Knowledge of British Standards

  • Knowledge of customer's products and markets

  • Knowledge of customer's processes and procedures

  • Some knowledge in strategic planning and risk management

  • Excellent decision-making skills

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Proven track record as an Electrical Engineer in both a design office and in construction
