Electrical Engineering Modern Apprentice

We are currently looking to recruit an Electrical Engineering Modern Apprentice at our
Forres site. This is an excellent opportunity to be in paid employment while learning new
skills, experience and gaining qualifications - SVQ 3 and NC or HNC.

The successful candidate will initially work within our Maintenance department for 3
months demonstrating the skills and aptitude needed before attending College in
August/September 2024.

The apprenticeship will give you ample time to learn and develop your skills and expertise
whilst performing tasks to earn your qualifications.



You will undertake a structured apprenticeship programme (up to 4 yrs) which will
incorporate theoretical study at college and experiential learning on-site at our Timber
Systems Division, Forres.

You will gain skills and knowledge through work experience and college learning to provide
electrical and some mechanical support to the site. Through work experience and job
shadowing you will gain operational knowledge of the relevant plant machinery and
systems. Working closely with our engineers you will learn how to repair and maintain a
range of onsite plant equipment, promote a safe and reliable standard to support the site,
and meet customers' demands.
