Full Job Description

Link is looking for an Electrical Qualified Supervisor who is electrically qualified. The postholder will be responsible for the safety, technical standard and quality of electrical installation work completed under their supervision for Curb Property Maintenance & Sub-Contractors. The Electrical Qualified Supervisor is also responsible for carrying out relevant duties to maintain a comprehensive professional reactive repairs service for tenants through the effective implementation of the Company's policies and procedures.

The Electrical Qualified Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring that the results of inspection and testing are recorded correctly on the appropriate certificates or reports to ensure compliance. The postholder will also ensure that the business, premises, equipment, documentation and records are available for inspection when required.

The Electrical Qualified Supervisor will be responsible for safeguarding all unused forms of certification and reporting any loss, theft or misuse. The postholder will have an understanding of the Electricity at work Regulations, current edition of BS 7671, and the Codes of Practice and Guidance Documents relevant to the range of work undertaken. They should also have a sound knowledge of the inspection, testing, verification, certification and reporting procedures for the range of electrical work undertaken., You will work with colleagues who offer support to ensure our customers' expectations are met. As Electrical Qualified Supervisor, you will have a detailed technical knowledge evidenced by trade experience and a relevant NVQ Level 3 or a City &
Guilds qualification (or equivalent). You will be qualified in Inspection & Testing to BS 7671, have 2391-52 Initial and periodic inspection and testing of electrical installations have an Approved Electrician Grade, up to date Grade Card and Health & Safety passport [ECS card].

This role requires a competent knowledge of domestic electrical installations and appliances including fault diagnosis and rectification. You will have proven compliance experience in a similar role and a sound knowledge and awareness of relevant Health and Safety requirements and an understanding of legislation and how both impact on method of work and customer needs. As Electrical Qualified Supervisor, you will be able to compile written technical reports and have experience of working in a property maintenance setting and working with sub-contractors, including experience of working within tenanted properties.

You will have an understanding of RAMS and will have experience in the application of IT systems for performance delivery. This role requires effective verbal and electronic communication skills and experience of using mobile technology/PDA. You will have commitment to excellent customer care, have the ability to manage workload and respond to changing priorities in order to meet deadlines. You will have the ability to investigate, evaluate and respond to situations quickly. This role requires a full Driving Licence and access to your own vehicle for work purposes.
