Electronic Technician

Reed Engineering are seeking a skilled Electronic Technician to join a company who are looking to expand their workforce. This role is crucial for maintaining and repairing electronic systems and equipment used, the ideal candidate will have a strong background in soldering and the ability to assemble and test electronic products.

Day to day roles include:

• Assemble, maintain and repair electronic systems
• Design and make system components
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with control systems, instrumentation, and automation equipment
• Read and interpret electronic circuit diagrams
• Implement and follow assembly processes in a safe way
• Work closely with other technical teams to ensure the reliability and performance of electronic systems

Required:

• Proven experience as an Electronic Technician, preferably in the oil and gas industry
• Relevant certification or diploma in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• Understanding of electronic systems and components used in the oil and gas sector
• Strong soldering skills
• Proficient in the use of diagnostic tools and equipment
