EQS (Electrical Qualifying Supervisor)

We are an extremely fast paced 24/7 Multi-Trade contracting company, operating throughout the borders. We operate mostly in the public sector for RSLs (Registered Social Landlords) on a Multi-Trade approach managing their Social Housing stock, we also operate in private domestic homes.

As a 24/7 Reactive Repairs & Maintenance company we deliver in excess of 2,500 jobs each month all on a KPI (Key Performance Indicator) ranging from small type repairs to larger works known as Voids. Also approximately 800 EICRs per month.

Due to our continued company success, we are looking to add another EQS to our team, you will be required to travel throughout West Coast & Central Belt but at times also to East Coast (Borders). Ideally the individual will be familiar with Housing Associations/Local Authorities and be a team player. The candidate must be able to undertake a variety of differing repair and installation jobs and the following are but an example of this expectation:

The individual will be familiar with all electrical operations namely within Social Housing and Private Domestic BUT knowledge on commercial/retail would be advantageous. A sound knowledge of general electrical repairs/mini rewires/rewires and also EICRs and remedial works within Local Authority, Housing Association or Domestic type works and have the following experience AND in depth knowledge on:

- Electrical inspection/testing and qualified to 18th Edition, BS 7671 or BS2391 AND have 2391/2395 or equivalent

- Previously appointed EQS, and have a wealth of EQS experience
- Domestic remedials, rewires and electrical alterations knowledge required.

- Domestic Fault finding/reactive repairs knowledge required

£40,000 - £43,000 a year - Permanent, Full-time
