Full Job Description

Are you an experienced IT Tester looking for your next challenge? Our client, an international energy business are looking to hire an ERP Test Analyst to work with the ERP team to create and implement test cases. Reporting into the Project Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that all related products are defect-free, satisfy criteria, and align with business objectives.


Responsibilities:

·        Conduct testing of software, modules, and business processes during implementation and upgrades, managing lifecycle transitions effectively

·        Analyse requirements specifications to create and execute test scenarios. Work closely with business stakeholders and analysts to ensure alignment with the desired "to be" state

·        Interface with software vendors to align and map vendor test cases with internal testing requirements for comprehensive coverage

·        Perform software testing as part of quality assurance, ensuring alignment with corresponding business processes

·        Take ownership of test strategy, design, and execution. Supervise shared testing resources and develop individuals for effective testing

·        Support the establishment of common testing approaches across projects

·        Collaborate with the ERP Project team to evaluate and select appropriate testing approaches and tools. Focus on Functional (Unit, Integration, System, Acceptance) and Non-Functional (Performance, Security, Usability, Compatibility) testing

·        Test Environment Provisioning: Collaborate on the requirement, design, and provision of test environments to support effective testing processes
