Full Job Description

Contract Scotland are working with a busy Glasgow based contractor to source an experienced Estimator. Delivering high-quality, innovative projects across a range of sectors, including commercial, industrial, and residential, they have secured a strong pipeline of work across the central belt.

The successful candidate will join an established preconstruction team and will play a key role in creating cost estimates and competitive bids for a wide range of construction projects.

As an Estimator, you will be responsible for (but not limited to):
- Preparation of cost estimates.
- Take-offs from drawings.
- Production of high-quality and cost-effective tenders from first principles.
- Effective risk analysis.
- Attending client meetings.
- Establishing the requirements of clients and offering recommendations/solutions.
- Liaising with Commercial, Contracts and Administration departments.

To be considered for this role, you will have demonstrable estimating experience within construction industry and a strong knowledge of Scottish supply networks and material prices.
