Full Job Description



Our client is currently seeking an experienced Estimator with skills in Plumbing & Heating to join our team in Edinburgh. The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical and communication skills, as well as a strong understanding of plumbing and heating systems.  You will be expected to compile and prepare accurate and detailed tenders for heating and plumbing packages on commercial, residential and industrial projects




Responsibilities:




- Prepare detailed estimates for plumbing and heating projects


- Review project plans and specifications to determine the scope of work and materials required


- Collaborate with contractors and suppliers to gather pricing information


- Analyse cost data to determine project feasibility and profitability


- Prepare and present project proposals to clients


- Monitor project costs throughout the construction process


- Ensure that all work complies with relevant building codes and regulations




Requirements:




- Proven experience as an Estimator in the Plumbing & Heating industry


- Excellent analytical and communication skills


- Strong understanding of plumbing and heating systems


- Familiarity with relevant building codes and regulations


- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Estimating software


- Ability to work independently and as part of a team


- Strong attention to detail and accuracy


- Good organizational and time management skills
