Full Job Description

GAP Group's specialist Events team offer a fully project managed installation and recovery service for a wide-range of equipment from control barriers for the sporting event of the summer or pedestrian trackway flooring for thousands of festival-goers. Our specialist team has supported major events across the UK including BAFTA, London Triathlon and the European Championships.

The Events Sales Coordinator will be responsible for maximising business within an existing client base and developing new business opportunities with companies throughout the UK. Based within our Glasgow Head Office, the successful candidate will be responsible for supporting our customers throughout their contracts, maximising sales opportunities from existing customers and winning new business.

The Events Sales Coordinator will be responsible for expanding business within an existing client base and maximising and developing new business opportunities with companies throughout the UK. Based within our Glasgow Head Office, the successful candidate will be responsible for co-ordinating the sales, business development and contract administration for our busy Events team including supporting customers throughout their contracts, identifying and maximising sales opportunities from existing customers and outgoing business development calls.

Previous experience working within a Sales Coordinator role, preferably within the Events or Construction industry, however, we would consider candidates from all industries
Proven experience within a high-volume B2B sales or telesales environment
Effective stakeholder management and negotiation skills
Strong understanding of the sales process from preparing quotes to processing contracts
Proficient in MS Office packages, specifically Excel and Word
