Full Job Description

The Events and Sponsorship Coordinator will play an integral part of SSEN Transmissions stakeholder engagement activities as well as in building, communicating and implementing the profile of the SSEN Transmission business to ensure that SSEN Transmission is a company which people want to engage with, partner with, work for and invest in.

The successful candidate will be required to travel to run and attend events, which may require working outside standard hours.

The duties and responsibilities of the Events and Sponsorship Coordinator are:

- Work with the Stakeholder Engagement Team to deliver 'best in class events and event support including webinars and in person events; train other team members in this practice and use of our stakeholder management system to record and support these events.

- Support delivery of SSEN Transmissions sponsorship proposition with input from colleagues.

- Work with teams across the business to build SSEN Transmissions reputation and insight gathering through identifying opportunities for colleagues to attend and speak at third party events, ensuring that speakers are well supported, attendance is logged and insights from attendance are shared.

- Work with third party agencies to deliver these activities, measuring and monitoring their success., At SSEN Transmission, we take immense pride in owning and operating the high-voltage electricity transmission network across the north of Scotland. Event Management expertise and track record of delivery.

- Ability to communicate effectively and gain buy in from multiple stakeholders, managing expectations and maintaining on-going business relationships.

- A drive for innovation and continuous development, with a passion for what you do, being committed, self-motivated, results-driven and resilient.

- Degree in events, marketing or related degree, or equivalent work experience.

- Excellent organisational skills and an ability to adapt to meet stakeholders needs and remain calm under pressure.
