Experienced Kitchen Assistant / Chef

We are looking for Kitchen Assistant / Pizza & Starter Chef who is experienced in fast paced kitchens. Our Head Chef will give you the necessary training for our way of prep, cooking and food service. The job also includes preparing, serving and cleaning daily.

Staff food & staff drinks as well as working with a friendly environment with early finish as the weekdays the last orders / kitchen closing times are at 7:30/8pm and the weekends are at 8:30/9pm most of the times.


You will be working in most of the theatre times that about 4 to 5 days a week over the whole year, some weeks more and some weeks less, depends on the shows at the King's Theatre. There are couple of lunch time shows and 4 to 6 evening shows. It is anything between 20 to 40 hours per week, mostly evenings (4:30/5pm to 8/9pm ish, plus a few lunches (11/12-2/3pm) on an average about 30 hours weekly with weekly payments via your bank. Also good rates of tips. There is 6 weeks paid holidays (when the kings theatre is closed, including most of July, this year 8-28 July). You could also have a parking space if you are driving, for free, plus staff food & drinks on duty.

Pay: £10.00-£12.50 per hour
