Full Job Description

Clyde Valley Housing Association (CVHA) are recruiting for a Factoring Assistant to join our Customer Service team. The role is 17.5 hrs per week which can be worked on a flexible basis, working pattern can be discussed at interview. In our Factoring Assistant role you will work within our dedicated and supportive team to deliver an efficient, effective and responsive factoring management service to our customers. Your team have the privilege of supporting and providing a high-quality service that offers value for money, meets legal requirements and delivers an excellent service for our customers. You will work closely with other housing experts in our wider teams, alongside external partners and agencies to help provide the right solutions at the right time to meet our customers' needs., To carry out a range of administrative tasks to contribute to the provision of a customer focussed and efficient factoring service.

  • Ensure provision of a first-class customer experience by focusing on providing solutions for factoring customers


  • Support the Senior Factoring Officer in delivering a range of factoring-related services to customers


  • Act as the first point of contact for customers regarding factoring issues by assisting with telephone and email enquires relating to invoice queries, common repairs, estate issues and any other factoring enquiry


  • Assist in producing quarterly invoices for customers, ensuring that they are issued on time and with the correct charges to each customer. Answer invoice queries and process customers' payments


  • Maximise factoring income by assisting the Senior Factoring Officer with debt recovery procedures including monitoring payment arrangements, issuing arrears correspondence and making outbound calls regarding missed payments
