Position Overview:

As the Head of Finance and Administration, you will play a crucial role in the strategic management of our club's financial resources and administrative operations. Reporting directly to the Board of Directors, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and implementing effective administrative processes to support our club's mission and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

·        Develop and execute financial strategies to support the club's short-term and long-term goals.

·        Manage the club's budgeting, forecasting, management accounts and cashflow reporting processes.

·        Implement financial controls and procedures to safeguard assets and mitigate risks.

·        Coordinate the preparation of VAT returns, company secretarial filings, and other regulatory filings.

·        Oversee payroll administration, supplier management, and oversee external HR and IT specialists.

·        Lead the annual audit process and liaise with external auditors.

·        Provide strategic insights and recommendations to optimise financial performance and resource allocation.

·        Supervise the administrative team and ensure efficient operation of office procedures and systems.

·        Collaborate with other departments to support cross-functional initiatives and projects.

·        Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and regulatory developments to inform decision-making.

Qualifications:

·        Professional qualification such as ACCA, CA, or equivalent.

·        Ideally at least three years post qualifying experience.

·        Experience in using cloud based accounting packages.

·        Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and compliance standards.

·        Proficiency in financial planning and analysis, budget management, and financial reporting.

·        Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

·        Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities.

·        High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
