Are you an experienced Finance Manager looking to lead the finance department of a charity?

iMultiply is supporting this Ayrshire charity in their search for a Finance Manager to join their team. This role is offered on a full time permanent basis with a hybrid working model.


The Organisation

Established for over 20 years, this charity is a beacon in the local community. The operation and activities of this organisation significantly positively impact the lives of hundreds of local people. This charity is well run, with a positive ongoing improvement approach to everything they do.


The Role

The board of this charity is looking to hire a Finance Manager on a full time permanent basis, to join the interim FD and hopefully, ultimately succeed them. The Board is looking for an experienced accountant with a strong financial process, controls and reporting skillset to join the team, manage the junior staff members and contribute towards ongoing significant improvements to processes and systems. These improvements will result in significant efficiency improvements through automation and upskilling, enhancing the effectiveness of the service delivery and the resilience of the operation.


The Ideal Candidate

A brief insight to the ideal candidates experience:

  • managing and developing junior finance staff members,
  • supervising payroll,
  • supervising and delivering quarterly financial accounts,
  • preparing financial information and reporting for board meetings,
  • experience in supporting organisation maximise value delivery from reserves and supporting varied internal non finance stakeholders.

What’s on offer

Based out of their offices in Ayrshire, this role is offered with a base salary of £50,000 depending on experience. This is a full time, permanent position with a hybrid working model and flexible approach to working. Part time arrangements may also be considered.
