Finance Manager - AP, AR & Credit Control

Meraki Talent are supporting with the permanent appointment of a Finance Manager based in Edinburgh paying £50,000 plus a fantastic benefits package.

The Role

The position of Finance Manager will be a key support to the Financial Controller to own transactional finance for the entire business. The Financial Controller is an individual that is willing to provide fantastic autonomy, resulting in the successful individual having the opportunity to lead on continuous & process improvement projects to drive efficiency and value to the company & it’s customers. The key components of the role will include:

·      Leading a team of transactional finance professionals including hiring, training & developing

·      Reviewing and developing processes, procedures, controls & systems

·      Business partnering with departmental Heads & Managers

·      Ownership of accounts payable function – invoicing, payment runs, suppliers statement reconciliations, & queries, expenses

·      Ownership of accounts receivable function – invoicing, billing,  credit notes, credit checks

·      Ownership of credit control – debtor days, debtor ledgers, account escalation
