Finance Transformation Lead - Central Belt - 12 Month Contract - Inside IR35

My client is on an ambitious cloud based ERP transformation journey. We are looking for a strong leader that has experience in a similar programme of work.

The ideal candidate will have strong financial acumen, excellent stakeholder management and has spent time working in the public sector.

- Provide leadership on all workstream deliverables to encourage collaboration so that all parties are open about the state of the services, the programme deliveries, and are realistic about timetables and benefits

- Work directly with all stakeholders to build engagement and ensure high levels of adoption and utilisation of the programme deliverables.

- Provide day to day management of the finance workstream, programme plan, risk and resources

- Proactively produce and manage project plans for the Finance and sub workstreams.

- Manage dependencies with other major programmes

- Own programme assessment to the GSS Transformation Self Assessment, for Process, Data, Technology while driving Path to Green actions to de-risk the delivery

- Represent the Programme Director into the wider Finance Function, ensuring the correct visibility and escalation of issues

- Represent the Finance Function to relevant Customer and User Groups involved in implementation

Essential Criteria:

- You will have operated at senior levels and have extensive experience of preparing and delivering Cloud based ERP transformation along with Finance Function process, customer, service management and business improvement strategies.

- Strong experience of project planning and of driving delivery from initiation to execution to transition, especially around integration, data and business change

- Hands on experience of planning complex implementations and taking ownership for their delivery in line with Programme Milestones

- Have strong experience in Finance Function process management skills

- Previous experience operating in a large fragmented business managing complex implementation processes with several stakeholders

- You will have ideally worked in and been involved in managing Cloud based ERP transformation change with a hybrid Functional / Technical background with a strong understanding of how ERP can be deployed to improve finance function performance across Record to Report, Purchase to Pay and Transaction Processing Operations

- Experience in the management of stakeholders at all levels in a public sector environment is also essential
