Financial Accountant

Location - Edinburgh (Hybrid)
Salary - 30,000 - 35,000 PA
Contract Length - 6 months

The role
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing the entity level month end reporting, annual entity statutory accounts, compliance activities and daily finance operations of the group. This is an exciting time to work with our client during a period of change.

Responsibilities
In this role you will be responsible but not limited to the below.

• Perform daily finance and month-end activities in accordance with line with procedure.
• Manage all accounting transactions for month end and year end.
• Assist in the preparation of budget and forecasts.
• Complete monthly balance sheet and income statement reconciliations
• Prepare statutory accounts on time and liaising with auditors as necessary.
• Support the wider Finance team with any ad hoc financial projects.

Experience

• Qualified Accountant or Qualified by Experience (2 years relevant experience minimum)
• An experience technical accountant, with exceptional knowledge of statutory and operational accounting
• Understanding of relevant country accounting practices and the regulatory environment
• Able to deal with multi currencies.
• Advanced excel skills.
