Full Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Financial Controller to join our team. Ideally, you'll have industry experience and are looking for a permanent part-time position. The ideal candidate will oversee all aspects of financial management, including accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.

Duties:
- Manage all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, and Revenue Recognition
- Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements
- Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting
- Research technical accounting issues for compliance
- Support month-end and year-end close process
- Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls

Accounts payable expertise
- Proficiency in Xero, Sage, or similar accounting software
- Strong financial management skills,

  • Recognised accounting qualification, although Qualified By Experience will be be given strong consideration.

  • Proven working experience as a Financial Controller

  • 5+ years of accounting and finance experience

  • Excellent communication skills
