Full Job Description

An exciting opportunity has become available to join our fantastic team as F&B Assistant at The Macallan Estate on a full or part-time basis. Reporting to the Food and Beverage Manager, you will work alongside exceptional professional team to deliver luxury food and beverage experiences. The Macallan Estate F&B offering extends across The Brasserie, The Macallan Bar, Easter Elchies House, Ghillies Cottage and The Macallan Fishing Lodge. The Estate also hosts a variety of five star events throughout the year, delivering a truly exceptional experience for our guests.,

  • Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and service in all Food and Beverage areas

  • Providing exceptional guest service, at all times, to exceed guest expectations

  • Ensuring cleanliness of all eating, drinking and service areas to health and hygiene best practice guidelines

  • Oversee the Macallan food and beverage areas set-up and ensure it is maintained to the agreed standard

  • Delivering a friendly and professional approach to service during breakfast, lunch, dinner and at events

  • Ensure food and drinks are served in a timely and professional manner

  • Ensuring clean crockery, cutlery and glassware is available for service

  • Completing seamless table turnarounds in an efficient manner

  • Develop an understanding of all menu offerings and be able to confidently explain items if asked

  • Ensuring The Macallan Bar is always immaculately presented, organised, and well-stocked

  • Greeting guests and serving in a friendly and professional manner

  • Provide drinks service to a high standard

    Experience with breakfast, lunch, dinner and event service delivery would be favourable

  • A positive attitude and a willingness to learn is essential

  • Commitment to excellent customer service

  • Strong numerical & literacy skills and good communication skills

  • Friendly and approachable to all customers and colleagues alike

  • Quality driven with high standards of cleanliness and attention to detail

  • Agility to working shifts - at times you will be required to work an early breakfast and late dinner shift

  • A high level of resilience and the ability to deal with fast-paced environments is essential

  • A positive "can do" attitude to solving problems in a professional and courteous manner

  • A strong team player with great communication skills and an enthusiastic approach
