Food and Beverage Host

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Food and Beverage Host to join our Food & Beverage Team at The Macallan Estate. You will ensure that all guests are given a world class luxury experience of The Macallan with exceptional customer service. You will deliver an exciting brand experience of The Macallan through exceptional delivery of all food and drink related service, across The Macallan EstateAt times you will be required to work an early breakfast and late dinner shift, as well as weekends.,

• Maintain high standards of service in the bar, brasserie and at events


• Provide exceptional guest service, at all times, to exceed guest expectations


• Ensure The Macallan food and beverage areas constantly achieve high standards of performance and service, ensuring they are set-up and maintained to the agreed standard


• Deliver a friendly and professional approach during breakfast, lunch, dinner and at events


• Complete seamless table turnarounds in an efficient manner


• Maintain an in-depth knowledge of The Macallan food offering


• Have full knowledge of the drink and coffee menus


• Ensure the drink quality and serve is constantly exceptional and in line with brand etiquette


• Responsible for the continuous development of the bar service offering, in terms of menu development and in accordance with the brand development and brand DNA


• To ensure all serve ingredients are planned, sourced, prepared and stored appropriately and in a timely manner
  
  To be successful in this role, you are friendly and approachable and have a positive "can-do" attitude. Experience with breakfast, lunch, dinner and event service delivery within a hospitality establishment is desirable but not essential as full training will be given. Ideally you have basic food hygiene & bar knowledge. You have a professional manner and a strong sense of ownership and pride, quality driven with high standards of cleanliness and attention to detail. You are proficient in numerical, literacy skills and communication skills.
