The ideal applicant will be a proactive team player, capable of working asynchronously within a geographically dispersed team, and possess a strong aptitude for learning.

We place a higher value on the quality of work than on location and timing, aim to provide concrete solutions to actual problems faced by our customers, and are open to adopting innovative tools when they represent the most suitable choice for the task at hand.

The Team:

The Analytics team at UserTesting, entrusted with the critical responsibilities of developing and maintaining the UTZ Analytics Platform, has earned a distinguished reputation for its extraordinary attention to detail, superior software development methodologies, and proficient management of time. This team's commitment to quality is reflected in every aspect of their work, from initial design to the final deployment, ensuring that the UTZ Analytics Platform not only meets but exceeds industry standards.

For those who are passionate about joining a cohesive, exceptionally skilled group that is dedicated to pushing the boundaries of innovation and continuously striving for excellence, the Analytics team at UserTesting offers a truly unparalleled opportunity. This is a place where your contributions will not only be valued but will also have a significant impact on the product and the wider community. If you're driven by the prospect of working alongside like-minded professionals in an environment that fosters personal growth and collective success, then the Analytics team is looking forward to welcoming you.

What you will be doing:

  • Analyze design and product specifications alongside UX design considerations to develop comprehensive, user-centered solutions.

  • Design and architect high-quality software using React, ensuring alignment with both business objectives and technical strategies.

  • Conduct validation and verification testing to guarantee software reliability.

  • Collaborate closely with the team to innovate and brainstorm new solutions, while effectively managing personal project timelines and deliverables.

  • Commit to continuous professional development by staying abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies.

Solid hands-on experience with web standards (HTML, CSS, JS), including a minimum of 3 years specializing in React, accompanied by a deep understanding of web technologies, W3C standards, programming concepts, and web architecture.

  • Demonstrated expertise in JavaScript and React.js, showcasing proficiency in DOM manipulation, JavaScript object model, and a thorough grasp of React.js principles. This includes experience with key React.js workflows such as Redux and Router.

  • Familiarity with modern front-end technologies and tools, including but not limited to Typescript, Babel, Webpack, and NPM, coupled with a track record of writing unit tests to validate code against functional specifications.

  • Proven ability to operate asynchronously within distributed teams, highlighted by exceptional learning capabilities, problem-solving skills, and a strong set of interpersonal attributes that emphasize teamwork, ownership, initiative, and integrity.
