They are currently seeking a passionate and experienced individual to join us as a Head of Room, contributing to the positive development of our little learners., Responsibilities: As the Head of Room, you will play a pivotal role in the daily operations of the nursery, ensuring a warm and supportive atmosphere for both children and staff. Key responsibilities include:
1. Educational Leadership:
- Design and implement age-appropriate curricula that align with early childhood development standards.
- Foster a love for learning by creating engaging and enriching activities for children.
- Provide leadership and guidance to room staff, promoting a collaborative and positive working environment.
- Attend regular staff meetings and professional development sessions to enhance team skills.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of each child, maintaining high standards of care and supervision.
- Establish strong relationships with parents, communicating effectively about their child's progress and well-being.
- Oversee daily administrative tasks related to the room, such as attendance records, meal planning, and inventory management.
- Work closely with the nursery management team to implement policies and procedures.
- Stay updated on the latest developments in early childhood education and incorporate best practices into the nursery's programs.
- Conduct regular assessments of the room's performance and identify areas for improvement.
A minimum of one year of experience in a leadership role within an early childhood education setting. - Relevant qualification in early childhood education or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of child development theories and best practices in early childhood education.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and lead by example.
