Full Job Description
- Mowing, edging, and fertilising lawns
- Weeding and mulching landscape beds
- Trimming hedges, shrubs, and small trees
- Removing and dispose of dead, damaged, or unwanted trees or branches, fallen leaves, other organic waste
- Planting flowers, trees, shrubs, and other plants
- Applying pesticides, herbicides, or other treatments to plants or soil or surrounding hard landscaping including kerbs, paving, and road surfaces
- Watering lawns, landscapes, and gardens
- Monitoring and maintaining plant health
- Clearing snow and spreading salt and grit during the winter season
- Maintaining safer car parking and footpaths
- Cleaning the external areas including signage, pathways, shelters, entrance ways, paintwork, etc. to maintain a pleasing exterior area
- Maintain equipment provided in an 'always ready' manner, cleaning, lubricating, and sharpening as necessary
- Maintain appropriate record keeping
- Carrying out other duties with the Warehouse Team, following all standard operating processes and following the instruction of the Warehouse Manager/supervisor at all times.
Previous relevant experience in grounds maintenance, including working alone - Previous experience of maintaining relevant tools and equipment to a high standard
- Full and clean driving licence and able to drive a van with trailer
- General maintenance skills
- Demonstrable evidence of maintaining high standards in all duties related to this role
- Warehouse experience
- Understanding the importance of Health & Safety, good housekeeping and waste management
- Loves working outdoors in all weather conditions, in a predominately physically active role
- Flexible - positive - 'can-do' attitude, Forklift/Reach Truck Trained
- First Aid Trained
- Computer use, familiar with excel applications

You will be responsible for the care and maintenance of outdoor spaces at our two offices in Dundee, ensuring these remain visually appealing, safe, and functional always.
