Grounds Maintenance Operative

Ideally, you will have experience in the following:

• Grounds Maintenance: 2 years


• Grass Cutting: 2 years


• Strimming: 2 years


• Driving Licence


• Trailer licence (preferred)


• PA1/PA6 Spraying Certificates (Preferred)


• knowledge of health and safety procedures & risk assessments


You will be a hard-working individual, who enjoys working outdoors, is willing to learn quickly, is interested in plantmanship and horticulture and able to work well as part of a growing team. You will be responsible for safely using machinery, vehicles and equipment while preserving the good working order of all equipment.

You will be working as part of a team carrying out various Grounds Maintenance tasks including but not limited to:

• Grass cutting


• Strimming


• Weeding


• Hedge cutting


• Pesticide spraying (depending on experience)


• Planting


• Laying turf


• Driving vans (valid driving license required)


• Driving ride on mower

• Transport links, We are looking for at least one full-time member of staff on a permanent contract, which consists of 40 Hours per week, Monday to Friday and based out of our unit in Renfrew. There are public transport links but your own transport would be a massive advantage.

Pay: £12.00-£15.00 per hour
