Full Job Description

As a Full Stack Developer your responsibilities will include, although are not limited to:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new features and enhancements for our web applications.

  • Develop, test, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable PHP code using Symfony framework.

  • Work with Twig templates to create responsive and visually appealing user interfaces.

  • Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards.

  • Debug and resolve issues reported by quality assurance and end-users promptly.

  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies, recommending, and implementing best practices.

  • Maintain your training record and ensure training for your job role is complete as identified on the training matrix.

  • Work in accordance with GDP standards., Build and maintain server-side applications using programming languages such as PHP.

  • Integrate databases and APIs to support dynamic content and functionality.

  • Content Management:

  • Implement content management systems (CMS) like WordPress or custom solutions.

  • Train clients or team members on how to update and manage website content.

  • Testing and Debugging:

  • Conduct through testing to identify and resolve bugs, performance issues, and security vulnerabilities.

  • Optimize website speed and performance for an excellent user experience.


  • Security:
  • Implement security best practices to protect against common web vulnerabilities.

  • Stay updates on the latest security threats and mitigation techniques.

  • Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, UX/UI experts, and project managers, to deliver projects on time and within scope.

  • Provide technical guidance and support to team members when needed.

  • Continuous Learning:

  • Stay up to date with emerging web development trends, technologies, and best practices.

  • Proactively suggest and implement improvements to existing projects.

    Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

  • Proven experience as a Software Engineer working with PHP frameworks, such as Laravel or Symfony.

  • Strong proficiency in web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AJAX.

  • Experience with front-end frameworks such as Twig, Angular and React.

  • Familiarity with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and ORM concepts.

  • Knowledge of version control systems, preferably Git.

  • Understanding of web security best practices.

  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.


  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with RESTful API development.

  • Knowledge of JavaScript frameworks/libraries (Bootstrap, React, Angular).

  • Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).

  • Understanding of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.

  • Experience working in an Agile Environment
