Guest Service Assistant

As a Guest Service Assistant you will be responsible for the following tasks;

• To ensure that guests receive an exceptional level of service


• To prepare and serve food items and drinks in line with company hygiene standards and following Scottish Licensing Law


• To be responsible for maintaining a comfortable atmosphere within the hotel's public areas


• Restaurant and bar duties including; taking guest orders, setting up, clearing tables, serving guests, replenishing of stocks and washing glasses


• To participate in guest activities that promote the hotel product and its services


• To ensure a high standard of cleanliness within public areas


• Some housekeeping tasks, Transparency | We ensure clarity in communication so that there are no surprises


• Ownership | We think and perform like owners


• Driven | We have a constant desire for improvement


• Investment in our People | We continuously invest in our people to ensure that they are the best that they can be
  
  Previous experience in the same or similar role


• Positive can do attitude is essential


• Previous experience in the hospitality industry is desirable but not essential


• Ability to provide and demonstrate exceptional guest service is essential


• Team player and able to work proactively with a wide remit is essential

Job Type: Zero hours contract

Pay: £11.44 per hour
