Are you a culinary maestro with a passion for creating delectable dishes? We're seeking an exceptional Head Chef to lead our fantastic Gastro Pub, creating the old classics with fresh locally sourced ingredient presented with flair and modern techniques and style.

Role Overview: As our Head Chef Your creative flair, leadership skills, and commitment to quality will be the secret ingredients that ensuring guest and customer experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Kitchen Command: Lead by example. Manage kitchen operations, coordinate with chefs, and ensure seamless service during peak hours.
  • Quality Control: Taste, tweak, and tantalize. Maintain impeccable standards for taste, presentation, and hygiene.
  • Ingredient Alchemy: Transform fresh produce into culinary gold. Source local, sustainable ingredients and weave them into culinary masterpieces.
  • Team Inspiration: Mentor and motivate our kitchen team. Your passion will ignite their creativity and drive excellence.
  • Budget Ballet: Keep an eye on the bottom line. Manage costs, wastage, and inventory efficiently.
  • Food Safety Choreography: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. No slip-ups allowed!

Requirements:

  • Experience: Proven track record as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef.
  • Leadership Charisma: Inspire, guide, and rally the troops.
  • Time Maestro: Juggle multiple pans without breaking a sweat.
  • Food Safety Ninja: Know the rules, follow the rules, and teach others the rules.
  • Passion: Love for food, creativity, and pushing culinary boundaries.

Who would suit this role?

The Gastro Pub is located in central Scotland with easy access from Fife, Edinburgh, Clackmannanshire, Stirling and even Glasgow. This role would suit a passionate Senior Sous or Head Chef who has worked in a creative environment and been trained in classic techniques.

Head Chef experience of up to 1 years as desired but an inspiring Senior Sous with the right background would be considered.
