  • Provide advice and guidance to project teams on health and safety matters, including the safe use of equipment, PPE requirements, and emergency procedures.
  • Deliver health and safety training and induction programs for employees and subcontractors, ensuring that all personnel are adequately informed and trained to perform their duties safely.
  • Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, documenting findings and recommending preventive measures to avoid recurrence.
  • Liaise with regulatory authorities, clients, and other stakeholders on health and safety matters, representing the company's interests and ensuring compliance with contractual obligations.
  • Monitor and report on health and safety performance, including key performance indicators (KPIs), to senior management and project stakeholders.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Degree or diploma in occupational health and safety, environmental management, or a related field.
  • NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent qualification in occupational health and safety.
  • Proven experience in a health and safety advisory role within civil engineering.
  • Sound knowledge of health and safety legislation, regulations, and standards applicable to the construction sector.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Excellent organizational and analytical abilities, with attention to detail and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.

Why Join Us:

  • Opportunity to work on a high-profile power transmission project with a leading construction company.
  • Competitive salary and benefits package, generous overtime scheme, private healthcare, substantial pension, and opportunities for career development.
  • Supportive and collaborative work environment where your contributions are valued and recognised.
  • Chance to make a difference by promoting a positive safety culture and ensuring the well-being of workers on the project.
