This is an exciting opportunity to work within our outbound sales team to focus on new business acquisition initiatives primarily targeted at the small to medium-sized business segments of the UK non-household water market.

You'll be responsible for proactively calling customers that have not consolidated their full estate with Business Stream with the aim of acquiring their whole portfolio of business locations.

You will also participate in campaigns that test customer propositions with the purpose of converting customers to Business Stream and providing feedback on the potential improvements.

Finally, you will undertake cold-call telesales campaigns targeting key SME customers that we've identified from the market data.

You will be a motivated team player with extensive knowledge and expertise in outbound calling in a business-to-business (B2B) setting, preferably in the mass market for utilities or a related field.

Prior experience working in a hectic sales team will be essential with the ability to identify and effectively progress appropriate business opportunities.

It goes without saying that you'll be an excellent communicator with the ability to tailor your approach to your audience and be passionate about customer service with a willingness to take ownership and accountability.

This role offers a salary up to £27,011 plus an up to 10% bonus, pension plan, colleague discounts and flexible benefits; plus 31 days annual leave and six bank holidays.

Hours - 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday., Starting base salary of £24,465 which will increase to £27,011 once your training and probation period are completed. (This is usually around 12 months.)

You will also be eligible for an up to 10% Annual Bonus.
