Full Job Description

The role of receptionist includes, but is not limited to:

  • Completing check-in and check out procedures

  • Dealing with bedroom and restaurant reservations via phone, email or direct desk.

  • Allocating bedrooms and cutting keys

  • Preparing bills and taking payments

  • Answering general enquiries and forwarding them to the relevant persons.

    Reception is the face of our hotel, the first team member our guests encounter. The ideal candidate should have strong interpersonal and organisational skills. The position does include shift work and weekend availability. The ideal candidate would have hotel experience.

    The Garfield House Hotel is a family-owned hotel with a contemporary Bar & Grill and terrace, several function suites, and 47 boutique bedrooms.
